Project restoration is not free unless the issue is on our end.
If a project is deleted due to non-payment, the customer is responsible, and a restoration fee will apply.
However, if we accidentally delete a project, we will restore it at no charge.
Procedure:
1. Explain to the customer that they will have to pay the fee for restoring their project + share the price.
2. Once they agree, request an invoice for a backup restore of a project in the Slack #invoice channel
An example of this can be found here:
https://umbraco.slack.com/archives/CGDQ930JF/p1737383525028999
Make sure to add all the necessary information to the invoice, including the alias of the deleted project.
3. Ask the customer to create a new Cloud project and ensure that the project is paid.
4. Check with the customer if they have a recent local copy of the project. It will be easier for BlackOps to restore the project if that's available (they won't have to file restore from Azure)
5. Once step, 2,3,4 are done you can proceed with filling out the BlackOps template called: BlackOps restore deleted project.
The fee price is around: 1100 euros
You can read more about the pricing for this service and other services here (make sure to select the correct year):
